B.C. residents only have few choices for snowmobiles and RCU Insurance has developed an insurance program in partnership with the B.C. Snowmobile Federation to provide their members an affordable option.  We also have a program for non-federation members.  Factors which often affect the cost of your insurance are your location, age, experience, driving record, type and cost of the Snowmobile and accessories you own.

The Open Skies Insurance program provides a single low price to all members that qualify.  As a service to BC Snowmobile Federation members only, we can provide Physical Damage coverage direct to you at very competitive premiums.

Recreational vehicles such as motor homes, vacation trailers and campers are most often insured on their own separate policy. Coverage for RVs is excluded within the Residential policy.

RCU Insurance offers a choice of Standard Replacement Cost or Deluxe coverage and our rates are highly competitive. 

The Replacement Cost policy provides All Risk coverage, (subject to standard insurance exclusions) and loss settlement on a "New for Old" basis up to the policy limit. A limited amount of personal property is included in this policy as well as a stated amount for Emergency Vacation Expense.

The Deluxe policy provides all the Standard coverages plus Guaranteed Replacement Cost. A higher limit for contents and Emergency Vacation Expense is also available.
